Who we are

Simply Do Construction (Pty) Ltd. (“SDC”) is a building construction company who initially commenced operations as a sub-contractor in 2012.

We mainly conduct business in the Western and Eastern Cape Provinces with a focus on the mass housing market and medium to high-end residential houses.

To ensure sustainability, we have secured large contracts. We have also implemented a diversification strategy, adding the construction of private residential houses/commercial developments to our portfolio in addition to the existing mass-housing segment.


To be a leading turn-key developer and building contractor of sustainable human settlements, but also to be the preferred contractor in delivering quality and innovative solutions in the building and property development industries.

Louis D Botha

Managing Director

Louis practised law as a litigator until 2008. One of his corporate clients (within the construction industry) recruited him to implement their legal, risk and compliance division.

He gained significant experience in advising various enterprises (including JSE listed companies) on a wide variety of assignments, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity capital raising, black economic empowerment transactions, securities, risk management and business development.

Louis applies a proactive management approach to the operational risks associated with business. He is a natural leader with excellent networking and interpersonal skills. His leadership and strategic business vision are cornerstones of SDC’s value proposition. Under his guidance, we will continue to grow from strength to strength.

Kriegler Neethling

Financial Officer

Kriegler is a financial professional who specialises in financial management and aligning financial strategy with company strategy.

He has served as a financial manager for various corporates, implementing the necessary structures and controls to make sure financial risks are minimised and efficiency is maximised. He also worked closely with management, ensuring they obtain accurate financial information to facilitate informed decisions on corporate strategy.

Kriegler joined SDC as Financial Officer. His ability to lead his team in the financial department helps to ensure our company vision is executed and implemented. Not only on a financial level, but in regards to the company holistically.

The support of Kriegler and his team towards the operational activities of SDC is an imperative element that contributes towards sustainable success for the company. We value his unbridled passion for being both a business and strategic partner.

His excellent track record, along with his open-minded approach in providing a transparent platform, makes him a valuable member of our management team.

Prince Leslie Sigcau

Commercial Director

Prince Leslie Sigcau, (AmaMpondo Kingdom, Transkei), is an experienced professional in the property development and ancillary (i.e. human settlement and associated infrastructure) industries.

Prince Sigcau has, prior to joining SDC, held executive positions within the mining, construction and infrastructure development environments in the Western and Eastern Cape.

Prince Sigcau joined the SDC team as Commercial Director in 2016. He brings a wealth of relevant experience with him as a result of his dealings with all three spheres of government (Local, Provincial and National), various Development Finance Institutions (DFIs), several Community-Based Organisations (CBOs), Traditional Authorities, as well as numerous private sector collaborations. Prince Sigcau brings an extremely balanced business acumen to our managerial team, accompanied by a sound technical ability and a comprehensive track record in managing vitally important stakeholder communications/engagements.

The valuable experience in public relations, as well as the management of information from our organisation to its audience (the client base), identifying the need for, packaging and promoting infrastructure projects, and his marketing background (derived from his formal advanced postgraduate qualification in Marketing, Advertising and Communication) ensures that Prince Sigcau is a truly irreplaceable member of our executive team.

Werner P Rademan

Senior Project Manager

Werner is a construction project manager who offers close to 20 years of success in managing residential and commercial construction projects, remodelling initiatives and site management activities. He has a career history of directing large-scale projects and maximising profitability through skilful contract negotiation, project estimation, project planning and material purchasing. Werner is dedicated to ensuring the highest levels of construction quality, maintaining full adherence to all programme deadlines and technical specifications.


We hold a 7GB grading with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB). Our capability to execute and complete small and large projects is supported by our experienced team (with joint experience in the industry that exceeds 100 years). We currently implement between three to five projects simultaneously, with accumulative contract values that range between R5 million and R120 million each.

Our senior management team has been responsible for the construction and completion of over 3,000 housing units in the past. We aim to complete at least 900  housing units during each financial year.
